Our Nutritional Menu
At Red Apple we believe in educating children from an early age the importance of eating health nutritious food and having plenty of physical activity.
At Red Apple the children enjoy a wide variety of the five food group
- A variety of vegetables of different types and colours including legumes and beans.
- Seasonal fruit
- Wholegrain, high fibre cereals such as bread, rice, pasta, noodles, couscous, oats ,quinoa and barley.
- Lean meats and chicken.
- Milk, yoghurt, cheese or their alternatives.
At Red Apple we do not cook with eggs or nuts due to the centre having children with severe allergies to these items.
Our menus have been assessed by a nutritionist to ensure we are covering all five food groups and providing healthy food which the children enjoy without added sugars, colourings, salt and saturated fats.
