The Early Years Learning Framework OR EYLF (FOR SHORT) is a curriculum initiative that has recently been introduced by the government to all early childhood education / childcare centre’s Australia wide. It consists of the 5 learning outcomes which are listed below and acts as a guide for early childhood educators. The framework highlights the importance of play based learning. BELONGING, BEING & BECOMING is the philosophy of the framework ​​​​and aims to foster a strong sense of belonging to family and community. They also emphasise being in the here and now having fun and trying new things, and becoming an identity through learning and developing.
